The Triathlon Weekend is a long-standing tradition in the town of Leamington. Having started out in a local family’s backyard pool and racing around their neighbourhood, the race has grown quite a lot over the years.
The race now takes place the week BEFORE Fathers’ Day Weekend and includes Leamington Kids Triathlon, Adult Try-a-Tri, Adult Do-a-Du, Sprint Triathlon, Sprint Duathlon, Open Water Swims, and 5km Run.
In the past, the race weekend has hosted KOS series races, provincial championship races, national championship races, and produced many members of Team Canada’s triathlon and duathlon team.
