Triangular swim in the harbour. In-water start.
Wetsuits will be allowed. Average water temperature is 72-76 degrees F.
Bike
Out and back flat course along county roads.
Run
2 laps on a shaded, lakeside course. Plenty of water stations.
Awards:
1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female in 5-year age categories plus 1st, 2nd, 3rd in relay category.

Ontario Triathlon Series

The Ontario Triathlon Series is for athletes in the 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15 age groups. Series points will be awarded to the top 10 finishers at the the races belonging to the seires across Ontario.


Adult Try-a-Tri and TAT Relay

Participate individually or as part of a relay team. A great way to get started in the sport of triathlon!!

1.5km and 3km Open Water Swim

Wetsuits are NOT allowed for open water swim athletes unless you choose to race as 'exhibition'.
 
Participants must currently be registered with the Ontario Association of Trathletes OR pay the daily OAT fee.

School Challenge ~ All Weekend Events

  • Students and teachers may participate in the challenge
  • 1 point per student, 2 points per teacher will be awarded to schools, and 5 points per principal
  • $500 first prize and $300 second prize to the elementary or high school that has accumulated the most points over the weekend
  • Relay times are welcome to participate
  • Be sure to include your school affiliation on the entry form and online.

Things to Know

  • OAT rules apply; drafting is not allowed, chest must be covered for the duration of the bike and run portion for both men and women
  • A waiver must be signed by all participants on race day
  • Chip timing for all races (with the exception of KOS sub-midgets)
  • Those registering after June 1, 2008 will have to pay a late fee of $5.00 per entry and t-shirts will not be guaranteed.
  • There will be no refund on registration fees for any reason.
